Tacos for Vaughan Events
Taco Man is the taco kitchen in our family of companies, alongside Mr Corn BBQ Catering and Mr Fun Foods. Our kitchen at 150 Rivalda Rd in North York is a short drive south of the Vaughan border, so Vaughan is one of the easiest places for us to cater.
Vaughan has a lot of business parks, warehouses and distribution centres, and a taco bar is a simple way to feed a big shift or a whole staff at once. We cook under our own canopy tents, so a parking lot, a loading area or a lawn works fine without a food truck spot. We cater across the city, including Woodbridge, Maple, Concord, Thornhill, Kleinburg and the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.

Tacos
3 tacos per guest, 6 proteins, corn or flour tortillas, onions, cilantro and crema.
Burrito Bowls
Rice, beans and your choice of protein. Naturally gluten-free.
Walking Tacos
Doritos, Takis or Fritos bag with protein and cheese.
Desserts
Churros, mini donuts, funnel cake or fresh fruit salad.

Permits for a Vaughan Event
A private event on private property, like a company lot or a backyard, doesn’t need health unit paperwork. Public events do, and in Vaughan that means York Region Public Health.
York Region has the shortest deadline in the GTA. Food vendors submit the Vendor Application Event Form to York Region Community and Health Services at least 10 days before the event, and the organizer submits their own form alongside it. Forms go to health.inspectors@york.ca, and York Region Health Connection is on 1-800-361-5653. A public health inspector will be in touch before the date.
Near a border?
Deadlines change when you cross a regional line. North York is Toronto Public Health (30 days, organizer notification) and Brampton is Peel Public Health (30 days for the organizer, 15 days for vendors). Check which health unit covers the venue’s actual address.
Vaughan schools
Mr Corn is an approved school vendor in every GTA region, including York Region District School Board schools in Vaughan. We supply insurance, food handler certification and health inspection paperwork whenever your school office needs it.

Vaughan Taco Catering FAQs
How much does taco catering cost in Vaughan?
Burrito bowls and walking tacos are $15 per person, the taco package is $21 per person with three tacos each, and desserts are $7 per person. The minimum booking is $1,400. There is no travel fee for Vaughan.
What does York Region need for a public event with food in Vaughan?
Vaughan is covered by York Region Public Health, which has the shortest deadline in the GTA.
