Deadlines change the moment you cross a regional line, and Markham sits on one. An event in Markham is York Region Public Health at 10 days (vendor form), but Scarborough falls under Toronto Public Health at 30 days (organizer notification). If your venue is close to the boundary, confirm which health unit covers the actual address rather than the city you think of it as being in — it is the most common scheduling mistake we see.

What we need on site in Markham
Roughly 20×20 ft for a full BBQ setup, or about 30 ft of clear access lane for the food truck. We bring our own generator, propane and equipment, so no power or water hookup is needed — which is what makes parking lots, park spaces and school fields workable without extra arrangements. Everything is cooked on site, never reheated.
