Taco Catering Mississauga
A live taco bar cooked fresh at your Mississauga office, school or party. Six proteins, a full toppings bar and our own staff, with setup and cleanup included. From $15 per person, with no travel fee for Mississauga.
Tacos for Mississauga Events
Taco Man is the taco kitchen in our family of companies, alongside Mr Corn BBQ Catering and Mr Fun Foods. We drive in from our North York kitchen, set up under our own canopy tents, cook everything on site and clean up when service ends.
Because we cook under tents rather than from a truck, we don’t need a food truck spot. That makes it simple to run a taco bar in a business park courtyard, an office parking lot, a park pavilion, a school field or a backyard anywhere in Mississauga, from Port Credit and Streetsville to Meadowvale, Erin Mills and the City Centre.

Permits for a Mississauga Event
A private event on private property, like an office lot, a company yard or a backyard, doesn’t need health unit paperwork. Public events do, and in Mississauga that means Peel Public Health.
The event organizer submits a Special Event Application at least 30 days before the event. Each food vendor, including us, submits a separate vendor application at least 15 days before. A public health inspector reviews both and emails the organizer a list of approved vendors, which the organizer keeps. Questions go to Peel Public Health at 905-799-7700.
Near a border?
Deadlines change when you cross a regional line. Etobicoke is Toronto Public Health (30 days, organizer notification) and Oakville is Halton Region Public Health (8 weeks for the coordinator, 4 weeks for vendors). Check which health unit covers the venue’s actual address.
Mississauga schools
Mr Corn is an approved school vendor in every GTA region, including Peel District School Board schools in Mississauga. We supply insurance, food handler certification and health inspection paperwork to whatever your school office asks for.
Health unit requirements summarised from Peel Public Health published guidance, checked August 2026. Rules can change, so confirm with the health unit before a public event.

Mississauga Taco Catering FAQs
How much does taco catering cost in Mississauga?
Burrito bowls and walking tacos are $15 per person, the taco package is $21 per person with three tacos each, and desserts are $7 per person. The minimum booking is $1,400. There is no travel fee for Mississauga.
What permits do I need for a public event with food in Mississauga?
Mississauga is covered by Peel Public Health. The event organizer submits a Special Event Application at least 30 days before the event, and each food vendor submits its own application at least 15 days before. Private events on private property, such as an office lot or a backyard, don’t go through this process.
Can you cater a school event in Mississauga?
Yes. Mr Corn is an approved school vendor in every GTA region, including Peel District School Board schools in Mississauga. We supply insurance, food handler certification and health inspection paperwork to whatever the school office asks for.
Do you need a truck parking spot at our Mississauga office?
No. We cook under our own canopy tents, so we can set up in an office courtyard, a parking lot, a park or a school field without a food truck spot or vehicle permit.
How far ahead should I book?
Book at least 4 weeks ahead, and longer for summer and weekend dates. For a public event, also work back from the Peel Public Health deadlines: 30 days for the organizer and 15 days for vendors.
