Tacos for Oakville Events
Taco Man is the taco kitchen in our family of companies, alongside Mr Corn BBQ Catering and Mr Fun Foods. We come in from our North York kitchen, set up under our own canopy tents, cook everything on site and clean up when service ends.
A lot of our Oakville bookings are private: backyard birthdays, graduation parties, showers and relaxed wedding receptions where a taco bar feels more fun than a plated dinner. We also cater office lunches and school events. We cater across Oakville, including Glen Abbey, Bronte, Kerr Village, Downtown Oakville, Joshua Creek, River Oaks and Clearview.

3 tacos per guest, 6 proteins, corn or flour tortillas, onions, cilantro and crema.
Burrito Bowls
Rice, beans and your choice of protein. Naturally gluten-free.

Doritos, Takis or Fritos bag with protein and cheese.

Churros, mini donuts, funnel cake or fresh fruit salad.

Permits for an Oakville Event
A private event on private property, like a backyard or an office lot, doesn’t need health unit paperwork. Public events do, and Oakville has the longest lead time in the GTA.
The event coordinator submits their application at least 8 weeks before the event, and each food vendor, including us, applies at least 4 weeks before. Halton says plainly that late applications may not be processed in time. At least one certified food handler must be on site for every hour the food booth is open, which our staff cover. Halton Region is on 311, or 905-825-6000.
Near a border?
Deadlines change when you cross a regional line. Mississauga is Peel Public Health (30 days for the organizer, 15 days for vendors). Burlington and Milton are also Halton, with the same 8-week and 4-week deadlines. Check which health unit covers the venue’s actual address.
Oakville schools
Mr Corn is an approved school vendor in every GTA region, including Halton District School Board schools in Oakville. We supply insurance, food handler certification and health inspection paperwork whenever your school office needs it.

How much does taco catering cost in Oakville?
